Conform site-urilor de specialitate, gen "xhlds, csservers, etc", odata cu noile update-uri de la Valve, redirectele clasice au inceput sa aibe drop 0.
Acest lucru se datoreaza faptului ca din noul engine au fost scoase comenzile "connect IP", ceea ce face ca pluginurile clasice de redirecte sa nu mai functioneze.

Totusi, baieti au gasit o solutie si pentru aceasta problema, si anume " connect, reconnect".
Acest lucru face ca cei care mai au cat de cat drop, sa redirectioneze dublu, dar cu reconectari.

Vom revenii cu mai multe amanunte despre acest subiect.

Conform noilor update-uri de la Valve, daca faceti update la serverul vostru HLDS, atunci veti avea un server Steam Only.
De ce?
Simplu. Dproto nu mai functioneaza cu noile update-uri.

- Changed timing function to call clock_gettime(), this should cause more stable frame rates
- Enabled utf8 chat for say and say_team commands
- Don't create a SAVE/ folder on server launch

Conform site-ului Steam, update-urile continua sa curga pe platforma Steam.

Ultimul update a iesit pe data de 18 Mar 2013 si afecteaza Clientul Valve
